And a visual check of this file confirms that the Financial Institution I need to connect to "Regions Bank" is not contained in this file. That worked and solved the problem, Makes you wonder why Quicken would make an announcement about the Regions Bank update issue but leave its users in the dark about a fix of the file that at least some users need in order to make the details of the announcement work?? At this point I don't know if Quicken simply does not have "Regions Bank" in their file or if I am just unable to download a new file. Or you could put the correct name in the "Description" or "Comment" on the Display tab of the Edit Account Details dialog for the account.Or: You can create a new account (remembering you only get one shot at choosing a financial institution name).
Using Windows 7 Pro, Quicken 2015 Deluxe During a download of C1 transactions, Quicken update shows a screen saying the Capital One needs a one-time update code and provides a dropdown selection to request the code by phone or by email and provides a portion of the phone number and email address for validation. Is anyone else experiencing this issue or has a resolution?
I can't even delete the old name, it just comes back.
You need to supply the "exact: financial institution name as it appears in Quicken. Both can be found on the Online Services tab of the Edit Account Details dialog for the account.
It is only one of these accounts that I can't change the name. If I had remembered that when I wrote the post, I would have changed the wording, but the bottom line would have been basically the same.
I was able to reproduce the problem exactly as you described it (including being able to key a new financial institution name, but having Quicken fail to save that name), so I have confirmed what appears to be a Quicken problem.
